Module 1: Class B Vehicle Basic Operation covers the basic operation of Class B vehicles. An initial orientation goes over driver safety fundamentals and the physical and operational characteristics of a bus.

Module 2: Class B Vehicle Advanced Operating Practices covers advanced operating procedures for Class B vehicles. Topics include: Hazard Perception, Distracted Driving, Emergency Maneuvers, Skid Control and Recovery, Railroad-Highway Grade Crossing, Vehicle Systems and Reporting Malfunctions, Identifying and Diagnosing Malfunctions, and Maintenance. 

Module 3: Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections covers the importance of vehicle inspection and skills for conducting pre- and post-inspections.

Module 4: Non-Vehicle Activities covers activities related to Class B vehicles, such as handling and documenting cargo and environmental compliance issues.

Module 5: Passenger Endorsement covers passenger endorsement, such as post-crash procedures and other emergency procedures.
